About This Organisation

Angulimala, The Buddhist Prison Chaplaincy, has been making Buddhism available in British prisons for forty years. Its objects include providing facilities for teaching and practicing Buddhism in His Majesty’s Prisons and other places of lawful detention, recruiting and advising Buddhist visiting chaplains, liaising with the Ministry of Justice chaplaincy and other relevant bodies, and offering aftercare and an advisory service for prisoners after release.
