VDT
Voluntary Drug Testing - drug tests that prisoners can request to demonstrate they are drug-free. A negative VDT may support applications for enhanced status, ROTL, or progression to open conditions.

Mandatory Drug Testing - a programme of random and suspicion-based drug testing in prisons. A positive test is a disciplinary offence and may affect a prisoner's privileges and release decisions.
