Risk of Serious Harm (RoSH)

The assessed level of risk of harm that the service user is identified as presenting, assessed as part of the OASys assessment tool. There are four levels: Low (LRoSH) - no likelihood of causing serious harm; Medium (MRoSH) - potential to cause harm but unlikely unless circumstances change (e.g., failure to take medication, loss of accommodation, relationship breakdown, drug or alcohol misuse); High (HRoSH) - identifiable indicators of risk, potential event could happen at any time with serious impact; Very High (VHRoSH) - imminent risk, event more likely than not to happen imminently with serious impact, typically relating to a critical few.
