Prison Service Instruction (PSI)

Mandatory instructions issued to prison staff that set out the rules and procedures that must be followed in running prisons. PSIs cover everything from security procedures to prisoner rights, healthcare, and complaints. They are numbered and dated, and prisoners can request to see relevant PSIs.
