HM Inspectorate of Probation (HMI Probation)

An independent inspectorate that reports on the effectiveness of work with adults and children who have offended. It inspects probation services, youth offending teams, and other organisations providing probation and youth offending services. The inspectorate assesses and reports on the quality of practice and makes recommendations for improvement.
