DIRF

Discrimination Incident Reporting Form - a system for prisoners and staff to report incidents of discrimination based on protected characteristics such as race, religion, disability, or sexual orientation. All DIRFs must be investigated and responded to.

The nine characteristics protected from discrimination under the Equality Act 2010: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
